TD Banknorth Website Ranks Among Top for Customer Experience

The Customer Respect Group, an international research and consulting firm, released a study in August 2007 that ranked the TD Banknorth website #1 for Simplicity and Responsiveness among over 40 U.S. financial services companies.

The Customer Respect Group's Simplicity rating focuses on how easy it is for customers to find information, complete online tasks and contact representatives. TD Banknorth earned high scores for its helpful customer self-service tools such as the search function and FAQs, simple navigation and easy-to-find online contact methods. TD Banknorth also ranked first in Simplicity in both the April and December 2006 surveys.

The Responsiveness rating measures how quickly and accurately customers' inquiries are answered via e-mail or other methods of communication. TD Banknorth's score increased dramatically in this area from last year as a result of the efforts of our Direct Banking team, and was not only ranked the highest among the financial services websites, but was in the top 5% of all industries studied.

The Customer Respect study, which measures how well companies treat their online customers in the categories of ease of use, communication and trust, was obtained through a review of over 2,500 websites – including user surveys, input by experts and trend data. TD Banknorth's website ranked third among the U.S. commercial bank websites surveyed in these three overall areas.
